About the event
Since 2005, Holiday With a Hero has provided more than $325,000 to ensure underprivileged children in Carson City have a proper Christmas. The program, a partnership between the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, Carson City Fire Department and the Carson City School District, pairs first responders and other community volunteers with students in need for an annual Christmas shopping spree.
Beginning in 2022, Holiday with a Hero launched a new scholarship program to further support local students and this tournament is the primary fundraiser for the scholarship portion of our services.
