2nd Annual Golf Tournament – 4-person scramble / Eagle Valley Golf Course
The Holiday with a Hero team is hosting a golf tournament as the primary fundraiser for our scholarship program which began in 2022. All proceeds from this event will benefit students in the Carson City School District.

About the event
Since 2005, Holiday With a Hero has provided more than $325,000 to ensure underprivileged children in Carson City have a proper Christmas. The program, a partnership between the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, Carson City Fire Department and the Carson City School District, pairs first responders and other community volunteers with students in the McKinney-Vento Students-in-Transition program for an annual Christmas shopping spree. Students who qualify for the program live in cars, campgrounds, motels or double up with other families.
Beginning in 2022, the Holiday with a Hero launched a new scholarship program to further support local students and this tournament is the primary fundraiser for the scholarship portion of our services.
